Accounting Isn’t Just Bookkeeping. It’s the Backbone of Every Business Decision You Make.

At HRC Financial Services, we believe accounting goes far beyond recording transactions to stay compliant. Well-maintained books help businesses understand true profitability, manage cash flow, prepare for tax and statutory requirements and make informed operational decisions, rather than relying on guesswork.

For a growing business, accounting should not be treated as a back-office formality handled once a month. A structured, ongoing approach to bookkeeping, cost tracking and financial reporting helps reduce errors, supports timely compliance and gives business owners the visibility they need to run their business with confidence

Our 6-Step Core Accounting Process

1

Understand Your Business & Reporting Needs

We start by getting to grips with how your business is structured, how it runs, where the revenue comes from, and the kind of financial visibility you’re after, whether that’s reporting split by project, by branch or by product.

2

Books Health Check & Diagnostic Review

Before any ongoing work begins, our team goes through your existing books, accounting software, chart of accounts and past records to find the gaps, errors or backlog that need sorting first.

3

Structuring the Chart of Accounts & Cost Centres:

We build or rebuild your chart of accounts and cost centres in Tally Prime or whatever software you already use, shaped around how your business genuinely works instead of some off-the-shelf template.

4

Monthly Bookkeeping & Reconciliation

Each month, vouchers get recorded, bank and vendor accounts get reconciled, and discrepancies get caught and cleared, so small errors never pile up into big ones.

5

Review, MIS Reporting & Finalisation

A senior team member checks the books before they’re finalised, and the MIS reports you actually need, profit and loss by cost centre, cash flow, receivables ageing, are drawn up to your requirements.

6

Compliance-Ready Handover

The finalised books come back to you in a state that’s ready for tax filing, statutory audit and other compliance needs, which spares you the last-minute scramble when filing season hits.

7

Review, Improve & Adapt

Businesses change, and so do their financial needs. We keep reviewing performance against targets, watch for challenges and openings as they emerge and adjust the strategy as you grow.

Case Study

Turning Scattered Books Into Project-wise Clarity.

A services business juggling 5 concurrent projects, with monthly volumes of roughly 350 vouchers, came to HRC Financial Services once it dawned on them that their Tally setup couldn’t tell them which projects were actually turning a profit. Cost allocations were being done informally, but they weren’t showing up correctly in the reporting.

What We Did?

Our team rebuilt the client’s chart of accounts and set up 5 dedicated cost centres in Tally Prime, backed by 4 in-person visits a month to check that on-ground data was being captured and vouchers tagged correctly.

Before the first reporting cycle started, historical entries were cleaned up and reclassified to fit the new structure.

From scattered data to structured clarity—empowering better project decisions and stronger profitability.

The Impact

Within the first month, the client experienced a clear shift.

A clean, cost centre-wise profit and loss report for the very first time.

One project was found to be running at a structural loss, which the old, unstructured books had completely hidden.

Accurate insights helped management take informed action.

The finding led to a pricing correction on the project the next quarter.

Founder’s Note.

Books should never be an afterthought that gets reconstructed once a year for filing

I believe good accounting is something a business should be able to look at any day of the month and actually understand itself through.
